The RAF Discovery app, recently launched, employs augmented reality to enhance the understanding of flight concepts within a digital workshop environment.

This application offers users the opportunity to experience thrilling flypasts and capture iconic RAF aircraft through their device cameras. Users can observe official RAF flypast formations or generate their own live formations within their home settings.

 <li>TRACK AND COLLECT Monitor and collect aircraft from the flypast based on authentic formations seen at numerous RAF events nationwide. The app facilitates the enhancement of images through augmented reality experiences during these events.</li>
 
 <li>VIEW AND INTERACT Witness aircraft in action as they navigate your surroundings, unveiling narratives, specifications, real footage, and interactive 3D visualizations.</li>
 
 <li>DISCOVER REAL STORIES & SHARE Access in-depth specifications and technical data related to each aircraft. Unearth historical narratives, photographs, and videos that highlight the individuals behind these machines. Users can take their own photographs and share unique flypast experiences with friends.</li>
